Challenge Tires is proud to roll out our new Pista TE lineup of track tires, bringing unmatched speed and uncompromised ride feel to the velodrome. Whether the surface is wood or concrete, nothing holds the sprinter's line like the Pista.
Pista TE Outdoor is finished with a slightly thicker tread, giving more wear and resistance on rougher outdoor track surfaces.
This handmade TE Series tubular tire combines a supple 350TPI sealed corespun cotton casing with natural rubber SMARTprime tread for minimal rolling resistance, amazing cornering confidence and unmatched ride quality. Latex Inner Tube with 60mm valve stem.
Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. Our handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.

CASING: Corespun Cotton 350TPI
Corespun Cotton with thread counts of 320-350tpi is naturally softer and more supple than polyester but is more likely to absorb water so we seal our cotton sidewalls for increased durability.
COMPOUND: SMARTprime
Delivers lower rolling resistance than our basic SMART compound without sacrificing traction or durability. SMARTprime rubber compound forms the basis of our fastest road tires yet.
