Our competitors use synthetic rubber that is cooked and hardened to increase lifespan at the expense of top performance. Our natural rubber treads wear faster than vulcanized compounds but ride feel is greatly enhanced – making them the choice of riders who demand the best.

Our standard rubber compound, SMART is the perfect balance of durability and performance. Our handmade construction ensures that our tread compounds are never hardened or heated by a vulcanization process.
SMARTplus
PRO & XP SERIES GRAVEL TIRES
A tougher and more cut-resistant rubber compound for the demands of gravel and rough terrain. SMARTplus wears longer to keep tread edges sharper, improving confidence and control over mixed surfaces.
SMARTsoft
TE & ULTRA SERIES CYCLOCROSS & TRACK TIRES
A more compliant rubber compound fine-tuned by Cyclocross World Champions for a smooth ride and maximum grip. SMARTsoft is also used on the special tires we developed with British Cycling for their Track program.
SMARTprime
CRITERIUM RS
Forumulated to deliver lower rolling resistance than our SMART compound without sacrificing durability. SMARTprime rubber compound forms the basis of our fastest road tires yet.
