SERIES: RACE (Vulcanized)

Value and Performance – It's tough to beat the durability, good performance and low cost of vulcanized construction. Our RACE series brings iconic Challenge tread patterns and compounds to more riders.

CASING: Nylon Superlight 60TPI

Vulcanized Nylon tire casings are the industry standard. Easy to produce and offering excellent durability and high performance at a moderate cost, they are the most common variety of tire available.

COMPOUND: SMART-V

A specially formulated version of our SMART compound that is adapted to the different construction of vulcanized tires

PUNCTURE PROTECTION: PPS

Our Puncture Protection System (PPS) is a tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.

The following Challenge TLR tires are compatible with ISO/ETRTO-compliant hookless rims:

• Getaway RACE Series TLR tires

• All Handmade TLR tires in sizes 33–45C

• All Criterium RS TLR sizes

Are Challenge Tires Difficult to Install?
