This handmade TE Series TLR tire combines a supple 350TPI sealed corespun cotton casing with natural rubber SMARTprime tread for minimal rolling resistance, amazing cornering confidence and unmatched ride quality. Our new Easy-Fit Shape moulding process gently pre-forms the tire for easier mounting and inflation.
Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. Our handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.

CASING: Corespun Cotton 320TPI
Corespun Cotton with thread counts of 320-350tpi is naturally softer and more supple than polyester but is more likely to absorb water so we seal our cotton sidewalls for increased durability.
COMPOUND: SMART
Our standard rubber compound, SMART is the perfect balance of durability and performance. Our handmade construction ensures that our tread compounds are never hardened or heated by the vulcanization process.
