Race it hard or just head off the beaten path. The Strada Bianca combines Challenge’s proven herringbone tread pattern with larger volumes to take you comfortably over less-than-perfect surfaces. This is the tire for rough roads, packed dirt and most dry gravel surfaces.
This handmade PRO version combines a supple, 260TPI Super Polyester casing with our SmartPlus Compound. A butyl inner tube is economical and maintains pressure for day-to-day training.
Remember you may need to use Challenge Presta Valve Extenders when mounting tubulars on deep-profile rims.

SERIES – PRO
Everyday Luxury – Our workhorse handmade tire is the PRO series, delivering performance and ride feel unmatched by traditional vulcanized tires. Perfect for the rigors of daily riding.
CASING – Super Polyester 260TPI
Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up our most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable.
CASING PROTECTION – Standard
Our handmade Super Polyester, Corespun Cotton and Silk casings are tougher than Nylon and offer a margin of increased cut resistance when compared to standard vulcanized tires.
TREAD COMPOUND – SMARTplus
A tougher and more cut-resistant rubber compound for the demands of gravel and rough terrain. SMARTplus wears longer to keep tread edges sharper, improving confidence over mixed surfaces.
PUNCTURE PROTECTION – PPS2
Our tires designed for use on rough roads, cobbles and gravel are built with an additional layer of PPS (PPS2) on the inside of the casing.
