The natural rubber treads of our handmade offerings are applied by hand and never subjected to the extreme heat of vulcanizing. We offer 5 distinct compounds depending on tire use, optimized for performance. The result is exceptional grip and road feel.

Challenge tires offer varying levels of puncture protection, starting with our PPS strip of tough, durable material under the tread.

Our handmade casings - Super Polyester, Core Spun Cotton or Silk - are all selected for their superior ride quality. From daily use to World Championship competition, we offer a tire series that outperforms everything else on the market.

For tires that expect to see rougher use in extreme terrain, we add a second layer of puncture protection called PPS2 that extends from sidewall to sidewall.

Challenge’s handmade TLR clincher tires in sizes 33C – 45C are approved for use on hookless rims. All sizes of the Criterium RS TLR and All RACE Series TLR tires are hookless compatible.
