Racing around the world - Baby Limus weekend

A huge weekend of racing in cyclocross has just finished. It was definitly a Baby Limus weekend as main of our supported riders chose it to get thier results!


Kicking things off in Spain, Felipe Orts Lloret took the win in Laudio in the C1 event. He backed this up with another in Sunday, with Manon Baker taking 2nd in the women’s race.


A new event in Beringen, Belgium captured the imagination of the fans with huge crowds. Thomas Pidcock finished 3rd, with Thomas Mein close behind in 4th in a good day for the two young British riders. Geerte Hoeke finished in 2nd with Katie Compton just behind in 3rd.

Loris Rouiller backed-up his World Cup podium with a win in Munich in the Super Cross. In a good day for the Swiss riders, Noemi Ruegg finished 3rd. Nadja Heigl ended up in 5th.

Shirin van Anrooij powered to a huge victory in GP Contern, Luxembourg. Thalita de Jong showed she’s well on the road to recovery with 2nd place.

In the USA it was Maghalie Rochette who came away with the biggest results ending up with a double win and maximum points from her trip to Cincinnati. Clara Honsinger and Caroline Mani also came away with podium places in a strong weekend as riders begin the build towards the continental championships. 2 top 10 results for Tobin Ortenblad showed his continued return to the top.

In the UK, Gossee van der Meer got the better of home favourite Ian Field in the National Trophy series. Thomas Pidcock ended his weekend with 4th in Gavere in the 3rd round of the Superprestige series. Thibau Nys took the win the Junior race.
