The Almanzo Tire …it all started way back with one of the first U.S. gravel races in mind: The Almanzo-100.

The Almanzo-100 in Minnesota was, along with Dirty Kanza (in Kansas) and many other races in the various states of the United States, the precursors of the whole Gravel wave that then followed and has recently become a new segment of cycling. As Gravel has grown and become really popular in the U.S., it has also has become a formal segment in Europe - though it has taken somewhat different forms and names in different countries – often called Adventure in the UK due to their use of horse paths rather than gravel or just “riding your bike” in Germany.

Handmade gravel tires (#)

Challenge's gravel handmade line stands apart from the competition in the quality of supple, locally-sourced natural rubbers and latex, which avoid the toughening vulcanization process and provide the smooth ride that only a handmade tire can, easing vibrations on rough terrain. Outer sidewall coating protection and double PPS (Puncture Protection System) inside provide it with added reliability.

More supple and with better rolling and traction than the other options on the market, look to Challenge to supply grip for your next grind on the gravel or adventure ride as may be.
